D’Arcs Polycarbonate lenses are 10 time more impact resistant than plastic or glass lenses and so prevent cracking and scratches. They are lightweight, optically correct and provide 100% UV protection.
TAC (Tri Acetate Cellulose) Polarized lenses feature a new lens technology formulated for enhanced visual and polarization clarity. They are hard coated to resist scratching and block out 100% of all harmful UV rays (400x) and are also very lightweight.
Grilamid TR-90 is a plastic polymer used in the creation of sport and other impact-resistant frames. Grilamid TR-90 is super-lightweight, flexible, and heat and UV resistant.
